Uncomforting Collage is meant to feel off. These pieces use distortion, scale, and unnatural combinations to create images that signal danger and instability without fully explaining why. The work leans into discomfort—hinting at decay, threat, and loss—while refusing to resolve the tension. It’s less about telling a story and more about creating a reaction that lingers.
