If I'm not creating, I'm dead.
I am a Multidisciplinary Design and Artist based in Indianapolis, IN
Hey there ! I’m Allisa.
I define my work through three things:
- a don’t-quit attitude
- zero interest in cookie-cutter design
- authentic human expression
In my design work, I focus on clarity, usability, and execution. I create both print and digital work, with hands-on experience that goes beyond the screen—running production equipment, preparing files for print, and understanding how design decisions translate in the real world.
I’ve worked with a range of clients, from small local businesses to larger e-commerce teams. Along the way, I’ve built a strong foundation in systemizing workflows, organizing files, and communicating design decisions in a way that actually makes sense to the people I’m working with.
I’m especially interested in accessible design and problem-solving—making sure what I create isn’t just visually strong, but functional, readable, and usable across different contexts.
At my core, I’m a visual artist. I earned my B.F.A. in Visual Communications from Ball State University in 2015 and have been building my practice ever since. From early freelance work to exhibiting in my own show at the Atheneum in Indianapolis, I’ve carved out a path that’s rooted in experimentation, persistence, and growth.
