Social Drinking looks at alcohol as part of everyday social behavior—something that brings people together while also standing in for them. Drinks replace faces, symbols sit where emotion should be, and familiar scenes of Americana reinforce how normalized it all is. The series plays with that tension, where connection and avoidance exist at the same time.
